Happy Belated Easter!!! We traveled out to Haxtun for Easter on Saturday for Jade's first overnight trip. She was a great traveler!! Here is her first Easter basket!!
Here is a close-up of Jade before going to church in her Easter polka dot dress!! We went to church with my mom, then ate breakfast at the church afterwards. Boy, it sure makes you feel old, realizing you were once in the youth group that made breakfast every year at church after Easter service 15-19 years ago.
All of Justin's family was there for Easter because his cousin Wes is being deployed again in May to the Middle East, so his family flew back to see everyone! They rented a room at the community center since there was so many of us. It was nice to finally introduce Jade to everyone. Here is a picture of Justin's Grandparents and the great grandchildren!! (The two red headed kids are not even brother and sister, but cousins!!)

It was an exhausting weekend, but we really enjoyed seeing everyone. Jade must have had too much fun, because she did not sleep last night when we got home. Looking forward to a nap today.

Is that a pink Easter basket? Were you color blind at the time of purchase? When does the Easter bunny leave price tags on items? Come on mommy Jill . . . we really need to work on the Easter Bunny being "real" or you are never going to be able to bribe Jade for good behavior.
Looks like a great Easter. Oh we love boynton books, especially the girls. Hope you enjoy reading them as much as us! Does Jade have any clothes other than polka dots?
