This past weekend was the annual Corn Festival Weekend in Haxtun. Justin took the day off and we traveled out on Friday morning. We stopped and saw my Grandma Heermanns.4 Generations
It was my aunt Celia's 50th Class reunion, so she flew in from Atlanta. She is the the third lady.
Waiting for more candy to be thrown.
It was Darren's(my sister's husband- the one in the orange) 25 year class reunion.
All the grandkids -- Blake, Jessa, Jaiden, Jase, Lexi and Jade
Mrs. Garretson -- she was our business teacher and FBLA advisor. She is just an amazing lady.
The penny scramble
Jade loved the rides.
At the fishing pond with Grandma Gay.
Lexi and Jade eating a hamburger from the Lions stand -- another Haxtun tradition.
The kids at the demolition derby
Jade had a great time. She had a snow cone at Corn Festival, she loved it. We are all tired.
My parents are heading south for the winter soon, so Sunday was a sad day of goodbyes. Monday has not been much better, Justin left today for Korea. Needless to say Jade wants her dad and to go back to grandma's house to swing, play coins, and ride the golf cart. Could be a long week.
