Catch up

Ok I know I am a slacker.  This summer has been crazy busy and it is already over.  Jade starts school on Wednesday.  I can safely say one of the best summers ever.  We had a house guest this summer.  My nephew Blake lived us for June and July, he actually moved out today.  He is 16 years old and will be a senior this year.  Yes a teenager in the house.  He got a paid internship at Children's Hospital doing research on genetic markers for Downs Syndrome and Autism.  He would move in every Sunday and go home every Friday to Fort Collins.  Now if you don't now Blake. . he is quiet, focused, funny, a fabulous runner and beyond smart (perfect scores on ACT and SAT and 7 AP high school tests. . just to name a few.) He wants his PhD. and Md. degrees in medicine.  So keep your fingers crossed he gets into his dream school.  He definitely won't be staying in Colorado which is sad for all of us.  He babysat the kids a couple of times this summer.  Justin and I got 3 nights out eating and a movie all alone.  YEA!!!

Of course we spent the week at Haxtun for harvest.  Jase practicing before we go.
On top of the wheat truck.
Kolt playing with Jase.  Jase had an amazing harvest.  He spent time in the columbine with Justin and got to see Rachel (Kolt's girlfriend) who he is in love with.
 We visited my Grandma.
Trying to get the field done before the rain comes.

Jade's favorite part of harvest the kitties.  She held this kitty for hours.
